If you’re making New Year’s resolutions like ‘get my career back on track’ or ‘find a new job’ then you aren’t alone. Thousands of others like you are wanting to get that new job or promotion in 2016.
The job market is picking back up again but there is still high competition for the jobs available in all sectors and to even get a second look from recruiters and employers is proving difficult.
That’s why it’s more important than ever to make yourself stand out from the crowd even at the very first stages of your job search.
The best way to get noticed? To have a well-crafted CV and an attractive LinkedIn profile.
It’s always been highly important to structure and write the content of your CV in a way that will make employers and recruiters put you to the top of the pile and give you that all important call back for an interview.
However, in the modern, digital led world we live in today, a great CV is not always enough to seal the deal.
LinkedIn is growing in popularity, with recruiters and employers using the professional online network to find the candidates rather than waiting until they come to them. Having an active and optimised LinkedIn profile can set you apart from the crowd and show you are a forward-thinking and tech-savvy individual; sought after traits in all industries!
That’s why we have scheduled a number of workshops beginning in January 2016, to help you to develop your CV and your LinkedIn presence, as well as touching on how to prepare for interviews. These workshops will take place on the following dates:
There will also be a special step by step walk through of how to set up a LinkedIn profile, for those who are not already on there and would like help with this.
Our LinkedIn set-up workshop will take place on 10th March. You will need to have your CV ready for this workshop as we will be using it as part of the session.
To book your place or to find out more about any of the above workshops, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01 8404075.
