Do you know anyone who spends all day at home on a computer?

Our IT Technical courses have now launched and we couldn’t be more delighted. Our students are always grateful to us for helping them into new or better careers, so we know we’ll have plenty of talented people to call on when our computers need upgrading or repairing!

The range starts with A+, which is the course you need if you enjoy using computers but don’t know much about how they work. People on A+ learn all about hardware and software and it qualifies them to work in areas as diverse as technicians or on help desks.

We were thinking about this course when we heard about the son of a friend of ours. He’s not particularly academic so didn’t go on to college. Since finishing school he has been out of work and spends most of his time holed up in his room on his computer. He is starting to get depressed and gain weight. He feels like he has no future.

But he already has valuable skills – he knows his way around a computer and isn’t afraid of them. Doing an A+ course would invigorate his brain, give him motivation and something to aim for, and give him a great set of skills and very employable qualification.
